Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of Smart Product Table ("the app"), a Shopify app provided by ShapeKode ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app, you ("you", the merchant) agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't install the app, or uninstall it.
Your use of Shopify itself is covered by Shopify's own terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.
1. The service
The app lets you build product tables in your Shopify admin and show them on your storefront through a theme app block. Features depend on your plan, as described on our pricing section and in the app. We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we remove a significant paid feature, we'll give reasonable notice.
2. Your account
- You need an active Shopify store to use the app, and you must be authorized to install apps on it.
- You're responsible for activity in your store's admin, including the settings and tables you create.
- You're responsible for the products, prices and content you choose to display, and for complying with the laws that apply to your store.
3. Plans and billing
- The app offers a Free plan and paid plans (currently Pro at $6.99/month and Business at $12.99/month, in US dollars).
- All billing is handled by Shopify. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice and are subject to Shopify's billing terms. We never collect your payment details.
- Paid features become available once Shopify confirms your subscription.
- We may change prices. Any change will follow Shopify's rules for app pricing, and we'll tell you before it applies to you.
- Refunds are handled case by case. Contact us at support@shapekode.com if you think you've been charged in error.
4. Changing plans and cancelling
- You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the app's Pricing page. Shopify decides when a plan change takes effect.
- You can cancel at any time by moving to the Free plan or uninstalling the app. Uninstalling ends your paid subscription.
- Downgrading never deletes your tables, but paid features stop working and tables beyond your plan's limit stop loading on your storefront.
- After you uninstall, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app for anything illegal, or to display content you don't have the right to sell or show;
- try to access other stores' data, bypass plan limits, or get around the app's security;
- overload, disrupt, scrape or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it;
- resell or sublicense the app.
We may suspend access for a store that breaks these rules or puts the service or other merchants at risk. Where reasonable, we'll contact you first.
6. Important limits of the app
- Quantity rules and order minimums are applied inside the product table only. They don't change your cart or checkout, and customers can still edit quantities there.
- Restricting a table to logged-in customers controls who sees that table. It isn't a way to lock products, prices or your cart, which Shopify makes available through other parts of your store.
- The app adds items to your store's standard Shopify cart. Prices, taxes, discounts, shipping and checkout are handled by Shopify and your store's settings.
7. Intellectual property
We own the app and its software, design and content. You keep all rights to your store data and product content. You give us permission to use that data only as needed to provide the app.
8. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Third-party themes, other apps and changes made by Shopify can affect how the app works.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales or data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity
You agree to cover reasonable losses we incur because of your breach of these terms or the content you display through the app.
11. Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the app with reasonable notice to installed merchants. Sections 7 to 10 continue to apply after these terms end.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and for significant changes we'll let installed merchants know in the app or by email. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
